The marketing around Lian Huat Group’s newest development is all around its residents having the city as their home. Though that can be said for most people living in Singapore, not that many people will be able to look out on Orchard Road and its surroundings from the comfort of their own living room. Plots around such a prestigious area are scarce, especially north of Orchard, and demand is expected to be high, at a time when sales for other prominent projects has been sluggish.
The Development
It is the location that is by far and away the biggest USP for 8 Hullet. It is a fine looking freehold condo, but it has not attempted to blow anyone away with its design or styling. The Location
Location wise, 8 Hullet is hard to beat. That is if you enjoy shopping, dining, entertaining, beautiful architecture and the buzz of the city on your doorstep. Orchard Road speaks for itself, with its array of world class retail and fashion labels, breath-taking modern architecture and round the clock thrills. It is also of course home to many fantastic dining experiences, both local and international.
That is not the whole story though. 8 Hullet is located next to Emerald Hill, one of the most charming streets anywhere on the island with its Chinese Baroque architecture and laid back atmosphere. The area is also well served by medical facilities – the Mount Elizabeth Hospital for example – and high quality schools such as Chatsworth International which is a stone’s throw from the development.
It is this balance, this choice between both sides of Singapore which makes the development stand out from many of its competition.
Transport Links
Even though 8 Hullet is in such a prime location in terms of so much being in such easy walking distance, there will always be the need to get to other parts of the island. Somerset MRT Station on the North South Line is a couple of minutes’ walk from the development. From there it is two and three stops to City Hall and Raffles Place respectively. Orchard MRT Station, slightly further away, as well as being on the North South Line, will also be on the soon to be opened Thomson East Coast Line.
The CTE is quickly and easily accessible, from where you can get to the PIE and all other areas of the island.
