Subsequently, the adjacent old bungalow was purchased in June 2018 and preserved within Klimt Cairnhill as the clubhouse. This decision aims to conserve some of the heritage value associated with the 1900s bungalow and enhance its Anglo-Malayan architectural style, characterized by lofty ceilings, pitched roofs, and expansive verandahs—a fusion of Anglo-Indian and Malay architectural influences.
